E55 Amg

What do you guys think of the new MB E55 AMG as far as styling and performance. I think it is very nice. (I posted here because there's more ppl here than in the m5 forum ...Would you guys go for the new m5 or this car?

The E55 AMG is so pimp daddy. 469hp supercharged V8...0-60 in 4.6 seconds. It looks amazing and they say it performs amazing, as well...it's really up there in class/luxury, too. Are you asking us compared to the E39 M5 or the up-coming 500hp V10 M5?

the upcoming one, with the 500 hp and the pre-judged "ugly" design which I dont fully agree about because I think it looks hot... On the other hand, I completely agree with you about the E55, it exudes class and power! Also, I think the price is fair as well for the amount of car that you get. If given the choice, which would you buy to simplify the question.

I personally think the spy pics of the 5 series look ugly. I mean, it can't be that much different from the regular 5 series and no body kit is gonna change the trunk and headlights. With that disclaimer, I'd choose the E55 out of the big 3 german manufacturers. It's got power, style, and class. May not be the fastest around the track, but let's face it. How many people are really gonna take that thing to the track. I'm more interested in scaring the pants off of my friends and colleagues.
