meh, im pretty sure its the mechanics behind the mirror, and not the switch inside the car.
reason is, when the problem started to show up, you could hit the switch and the mirror would move and sound like it was struggling and then start poping like it was skipping gears. I dont know if there are limits to the up,down,lef,and right directions, but it seems jammed and now nothing happens. i dunno.
i was just asking because it seems that it broke quite easily and was a high failure item on the e30's. so maybe someone had experience on how to take the mirror appart so they could post it.
