Electrical Problem on 330cic - Help!

have a 2003 BMW 330cic that started a problem that could be electircal. The is no alarm, but there are auato locks. For no reason when parked the lights flash like an alarm and will not stop until I turn it off with the key. It drains the battery.
Anyone here of this as a common problem?

Mainly the headlights and back lights.

The key has a button to lock and unlock. I need to hit the unlock to turn off the blicking. It stops and I re-lock it and it is fine for a while and then starts blinging again.

when u say "...will not stop until i turn it off with the key" can u clarify?

do u have to unlock the car door and then it shuts off? if there is no alarm, then how are u shutting off the lights?

Which lights? Headlights, turn/brake lights, interior lights?????
