Engine noise problem

You do not provide much information, mileage, etc. I would suggest it is the timing chain tensioners and I would bet you have 150 - 200k on her? Does is go away when warm?

Judging from photos is difficult at best but they look worn to me, is there much slack in them? Did you change just the tensioner, or the guide rails as well? My bet would be you are in need of a timing system rebuild, but I cannot guarantee that from a photo. Here is a photo of the system from RealOem.

It's more than likely that it's the guide, not the tensioner. You'll have to remove the lower timing chain covers to see the chain guide. You won't see any slack just by removing the valve cover. Before you tackle that, make sure it's not you fan blades rubbing the fan shroud, or something else.

I'm gonna do that next. It can't be the fan blades, as I removed the fan and the noise remained.
