They were able to recreate and reprogrammed the tranny control module. The service receipt listed this as a "campaign". Now the transmission JUMPS into drive from reverse on first engagement. It only does this when cold. When warm, it shifts into drive without the jump. I will have to get used to this as it is very different from the slipping. Also the overall shifts seem quicker and more direct, especially downshifts when slowing down. Seems like it is in sport mode all the time. I haven't fully tested it. I used manual mode yesterday and it really cranked, although it cranked in manual before as well.
