I was having a hell of a time finding Wheels to fit my E30. Most on the web that fit. are going for 1000 without tires. So I was happy to find these. for $800 with tires. with the right spacer these fit great. Wheels are 17x7 tires are 205 40 17 "Z "rated tires

Congrats
What year is your car? I've been racking my brain about my '87. I've had a tough time trying to find the same thing....a package under $1200. Did you order them online or find them elsewhere?

whats so different about putting wheels on these cars?
are you refering to the concept of putting new wheels on in general, or why we make a big deal about it? as far as i know, the E30 (non M3s) are the only bimmers that AREN'T 5 lug. that and the offset make it really hard to find good looking wheels. if you're just refering to the concept of putting new wheels on in general, i'd have to say we love our cars and do anything we can to enjoy them even more. as you say, your bimmer is "bone stock" so perhaps you can't relate in the same manner. maybe i'm way off...

aren't they the same size as jettas?? My friends' fit right one mine. Wanted to see what it looked like.

So if they are the same as the jettas wouldn't it be real easy to find good rims?

By the way they look good. They would REALLY look good with a lowering kit. The wheel gap is crazy on our cars.

I got them from a guy that is local in tampa the final price was $801 tax an all. AK wheels might get you there on the web. if not then let me know
As far as the lowering kit. right now the rear ent of the car is lower than the front. I want to give it a more agressive stance. I just put in new shocks and struts so how much work has to go into installing the lowering kit? any vendors in mind?

thanks for the compliments on the rims.
