CONGRATULATIONS !!!!!

Glad to learn your waiting is finally over. Be sure to avoid the sink-hole sized potholes of Philadelphia. Once adequately tuned in I suggest 476 North toward Allentown. Virtually the Autobahn of the Northeast with a couple of know bear dens/traps.

Enjoy dude!

Longshanks. If you're trying to get an idea of how long your wait will be, comparisons to the period from order-time to delivery won't help you. Let me tell you why. When an order goes in, it has absolutely nothing to do with when the car gets built. The build date can be the next week after order entry, or it can be 4 months later. It all depends upon the available allocations that your dealer has and when they have one available for you.

First thing you need to do is request the build date. Then ... it makes sense to ask others how long it took between build and delivery. Generally (depending upon how long the queue is at the port in Germany), this is about 4-6 weeks for US East Coast and about 6-8 weeks for US West Coast. For me, it was about 5 weeks East Coast, but the ship was delayed for a few days cause of a hurricane.

Good Luck!

This is very true, My 330Cic went into production 2 weeks after my "On order" number was established, pretty quick process.

Then recently-

I Order an M3 on Feb 2nd, production date is not untill "March 15th".

Grrrrrr !!!

The wait is always worth the flexibilty to order what you want. IMO.

Sweeeeeeet!!!!!!! I am sure you are just lovin it. Was it worth the wait?

These cars are amazing. I ended up on a dirt road last night and the DSC kicked in, it's hard to explain but just suffice it to say I could have easily spun all over the place but the car kept control at all times. It was a trip.

post some pics so we can see.

[wave] Flash...

Have you seen the cover of (Dec., I think) Roundel magazine? It is an '04 'Gray'
M3... awesome lookin'. [thumb]

I love my Gray 'ZHP'. I'm going to pick-up a Porter Cable 7424 'Ultimate' to keep the paint
in perfect condition.

Looking forward to seeing the exterior difference(s) between the '04 'ZHP' & M3...

[wave] RuflessPhilly ~ great color choice, bud...

Happy [driving2]
