OK... it's finally done.

My car has the Aux Input installed, and it works as advertised.

I have to say, I've never had such an extreme experience putting in a $39 part.

Hopefully my dealer has taken careful notes on how this was done so future Las Vegas-based test subjects (sic.) customers don't have to endure 6+ hours of personal time invested to get the dang thing installed. :(

anyhow... now... I just bought an after-market I-Bus CD Changer (BMW branded)... how hard is it going to be for ME to put in? Will my dealer activate it for me?

I went thru the sam thing with my dealer. They took three hours, but only charged me for one our.I couldn't be happier, the sounds from my iPod are CD quallity.
