Well, after patiently waiting 6 weeks for my new 2004 330 coupe with Performance Package, I finally picked it on Tuesday. [headbang]

I can definitely say that it was well worth the wait. What impresses me the most so far (besides, of course, the hot looking body style) is the amazing handling. The ZHP suspension mated to the 18" tires really makes the car feel like its riding on rails. The short throw manual transmission shifts soooooo smoothly. The exhaust sounds much deeper than I expected (although nothing close to aftermarket exhaust). I can't wait til the break-in period is over so I can really get on it and see what it can do!

As for the HK sound system, I've read alot of posts where people have said that it sucks. I can see why some people say it sounds muffled but I think it only sounds a little muffled at low volumes. When the volume is cranked up, its crystal clear. I found that if I lower the bass settings at low volumns the sound is very good.

The navigation was definitely worth the extra money, its simple to use and makes the interior look great. The alcantra steering wheel is very comfortable, hopefully its also durable.

My whole dealer experience was excellent. One minor thing that BMW did screw up was that they forgot to install the trunklid spoiler [?|] No big deal, they've ordered one for me and will be installing this weekend. Oh, and when I got home, I noticed a little sticker residue on the passenger side door. It was very minor and barely noticeable. No biggy, I wiped it off with a little alcohol.

I know its only been two days that I've been driving a BMW, but I think its safe to say that I'll be driving BMW for a long time to come. It really is the Ultimate Driving Machine. [driving2]

Oh, one question I do have, my dealer

Do you have second thoughts about not going for the M3?

No. I'm leasing this one and the difference in the monthly payments between the car I got and the M3 would've been too much for me.

Thank you [thumb] ......I'll definitely post pics as soon as I get chance. The only problem is that whenever I have free time, I'd rather drive it than take pictures of it! [hihi]

Congrats on the car!

What was your question about your dealer?

Thanks!

I was gonna ask about whether or not the car should be serviced after the initial break in period is over, but then I decided to search the boards first and see if I could find any answers on a different thread. I was curious cause my dealer said that an oil change wasn't required at all until 15,000 miles. Somehow it just doesn't sound right to me?! [screwy]

Thanks for the advice jonnyz16. I'll be sure to check out the detailing board........especially the section on keeping the rims clean! 100 miles on the car and I can already tell that the brake dust is gonna drive me nuts [?|]
