I just went on my first TRUE ride of my freshly purchased and freshly fixed 1999 328i sedan.

I've had 626s, I've had Camrys, I've had Accords, I've had Acuras, ..... boy was this one different!!![driving] Bimmer is a Bimmer. I think that's enough said. Makes no sense to explain that to anyone, they must simply buy one and see for themself. Test-driving not always works.... I've test driven Bimmers and they never made such an impression on my as this one - my own. Interesting, isn't it?

Some things I have noticed: awesome pickus at low rpm and a great performing automatic transmisson. Smooth as silk, and keeping good rpms for a dynamic driver. Excellent road feel - it felt like I was driving a heavy 7 series (great road grip). High speed curves don't exist. Entering the freeway at 80mph on a 30 degree curve felt like... I don't know - it was gone before I realized 50mph was a suggested speed for that turn. Nice hum from the engine whenever I press the accelearator. Excellent night interior lighting - looks like a cocpit of a plane. 60+ accelaration...

I won't even mention the exterior looks - this is the main reason why we got one. Alpina White is just beautiful. Xenon lights are awesome, too.

Anyone disagree?[:D] [:D] [:D]
