For those with NAV, I am a bit confused....

I called Navteq today about getting the latest DVD and they say the 2003 version is available, but the 2004 version won't be out until September.

My confusion is:

I could swear someone posted in here that they have the 2004 version of maps. Is this true and if so, what is up with this?

BTW when I took delivery of my '04 in 8/03 the 2002 version was the current one and that's what I have. The dealer refuses to give me an updated one as they say I got the right one for when my car was delivered. Sons a bitches.

I picked up my car in the beginning of April. My disc says 2004-2

I picked up my 325i in April as well and received the 2004-2 DVD.

Man, I bought my navdvd in Feb. and NavTech said the 2004 wouldn't be out until September. I have 2003-2. Had I known the new one was going to be this soon, I'd have waited. ;/

I called navteq YESTERDAY and they said there is no 2004 DVD available until September. They said the 2003 is available until then. WTF? How did all those others get a 2004 if navtech hasn't produced it yet.

All I can think of is they label it 2004 even though it is from 2003? But that wouldn't explain your 2003-2.......
