Hi folks... [wave]

I just stopped in for a coffee at my local BMW dealership.

Next thing I know [after takin' a Z4 (3.0 auto) for a ride around the block] I'm signing

those contracts again... [chair] [ohcrap]

That's right, a Bright Red/Beige Leather roadster has now replaced my Gray 'ZHP.'

"Man... I love when that happens..." [bmwdance]

Pic.'s to follow... [^]

What kind of a deal did you get as far as the trade? I hear BMW is real good about trading a lease early.

I was just at Desert BMW Henderson last night, closed the place down thinking about trading myself.

Did you see the black X5? Very nice but $75,000 is way too much for an X5.

Oh, and congratulations Paddy! [clap]

I don’t think we’ll see too much of you with the weather, being that it dropped to 60-70 at night and 80-90 during the day. The last couple of days I had this sudden urge to put up Christmas lights. [hihi]

Being that it DROPPED to that low? NJ doesn't even dream of having a consistent 80-90 degree summer every day. If I had a convertible, I'd always have the top down as long as it's at least 45 degrees outside.

I can't imagine a better car in NV than a drop top. Don't go drag racing the Z on the Strip like in that James Brown BMW movie!! Congrats!

[wave] everybody...

Man, this thing (Z4) really [headbang] ...

I should of bought this thing right from the get go [^]

Anyway, if you're makin' a lateral move to another [new] vehicle within the 'BMW
Lease Program' there isn't any kind of high dollar penalty [nono]

I only had 4400 miles on my '04 'ZHP' and all they required was $1600 down and an additional $35 a month on my payment... The MSRP on the 'Z' was approx.
$4000 more than on my [traded] 'ZHP.'

BMW also is eating the registration cost of getting this thing on the road, which I thought was worth several hundred dollars...

The only thing I have to do now is pick up a digital camera so I can post...

** Bryan330i ** I DID see that new X5 (black) on the showroom. They now have a pretty blue one on on the floor as well. You're right, it's PRICEY!

The Z4 I picked up was the Red/Beige Leather that you should [also] have seen
on the floor when you were there...

"More later, folks..." [thumb]

Wow, that's a really great deal. So you just didn't have to pay anything to get out of your leased 330i?

When getting out of the lease of my Jetta, I had to hand over my Jetta and $3,400 and all that was not including the initial fees of the G35 Coupe.

I think it's time to show us some pictures! [thumb]

[wave] Mr'E'...

There was NO penalty for the upgrade...

I do know the dealer got a 'Factory-to-Dealer' incentive, probably to move the Z4

out of the '04 inventory. That may have offset what [normally] would have been

a penalty incured by [me] the customer for altering the lease.

I go back to the dealer at the end of the

week to pick up my regular (NV) license plates and will find out more then... [clap]

I will have the pic.'s up soon...
