I am attempting to purchase a replacement for my front bumper. Right now I have a license plate holder and I just want the strip. I went to BMW to purchase the replacement and apparently, my bumper is the only bumper that they do not make this part for. Has anyone had any experience with this before or heard about this? And if so, have you been able to find an aftermarket part? My car is a 2003 325i.

Wierd, could bavauto at least order it for you? Your BMW dealer said that they didn't have a plain strip for your year car?? That sounds sorta strange..
I'm not a 2003 owner but that sorta sounds wierd. I drove a couple new 2004's last Friday during a BMW sponsored 'cure for cancer' drive, and I was noticing they all (3 series) had front tags (Cause all the cars had Jersey tags. I think it's law to have front and back there). But it was the same sorta 'strip' that I replaced on my 2000.

That is strange. My 2004 came from the factory with the straight bumper insert and the license plate holder one was in the trunk if I wanted to use it. Check the M aero kit parts. The M aero kit is listed in the BMW accessories catalog. Although it shows a German license plate mine has a straight insert. My ZHP has this kit as std but the filler strip looks the same as the normal strip.
