Front Stressbar

Besides looking kool after you pop open the hood.

Does the front stressbar really make a difference? Does the e46 really have any flex?

I could not tell you about the e46, although I would guess every car has some flex. The more you have the more noticable the difference with the bar obviously. I could really tell when I installed one on my M roadster, however I could also tell when I installed front and rears on my e30 318is. Oh yeah, and your right they do look cool when you open the hood.

E46 is really stiff already. You don't need a stress bar for street use. E36's aor Z's really benefit from those, but not E46. On the track/AutoX they are helpful however. Looks are a different story.
