Funny noise made by 325i E90

The engine of my brand new 325i makes a funny noise aside the regular typical 6 cylinder noise (sort of slight screaming in the low revs); the dealer is telling me that's normal (!) and due to the new Valvetronic system.
I find this side noise slightly disgraceful and cann hardly believe that's normal.
Did anybody experience such unusual noise?

I don't have a 325i E90, but I have a 330i E90 (actually we have basically the same engine though). I have NO odd noises at any rpm...just a perfect balanced, throaty, silky in-line BMW 6 cylinder sound.

I would try another dealership.

A Dealer's default response is always that the problem you are experiencing is normal. Test drive another 325 E90 and see if it makes the same noise. If it doesn't , demand that the Dealer repair your car.
