fuse blows in reverse

Well as soon as i put my car in reverse the #10 fuse blows. I dont touch the gas or anything so do you guys think it has something to do with to reverse lights. Thanks

Yes, you probably have a short or a bad ground in the reverse lights. What's the no 10 fuse? I don't have a manual at work.

well on the #10 fuse it has gages, check engine light stuff, and backup lights. were would i check if there was a short.thanks

pull the rear light assembly out and clean the contacts check bubls are seated properly and not jumping about. also check the wires going into the plug to make sure all is OK.

Well today i fixed the fuse prob. it was the exact thing as that link said. as soon as the boot came off i was like theres the prob. so it took me a good 2 hours to figure out everything and hook it all back, a very succesfull day. thanks for all your help guys.
