So I'm heading back from NYC to Atlanta, and outside Harrisburg, PA my car starts to cough and hiccup. Eventually it just dies and I'm stuck on the side of the road. The highway partrol sends out a tow truck, and I ask him for gas, just in case.
The needle indicated I still had gas, but I figured it was the natural thing to check first before having it towed. Sure enough, even though the needle said I had about 1/6th of a tank left, I had none!!
Has anyone else had this happen to them? The indicator seems to be working fine now. It was 15 degrees when I left Greenwich, CT. Maybe it was in some frozen state?
It cost me $90 for a couple gallons of gas...ugggghhh. The most expensive gas known to man...and the wrong grade anyway! But at least it wasn't anything more serious.
