It's only been a week with my 2006 E90, but so far I am very impressed with the fuel economy (but I guess after having an M3 for almost a year, I am not too hard to impress [:)]

I seem to be averaging a solid 20 mpg in city driving (with an average mph of 35 & AC on), and on the freeway with an average of 65 mph, a pretty solid 26-28 mpg. Not bad for a car with less than 100 miles on it.

I recently bought my first BMW...
Its a 323,the pamflet listed the gas consumption for the 325 and 330 but said TBD for the 323....the 325 was listed at 8.77Km/L
Well I've put 700 Kms on my 323 and the consumption so far is 5.8Km/L...
All city, but it seems rediculous to me....

Now with 800 miles on my 330 xi, the mileage is good. I get about 19 in town, lots of frustrating driving in a standard. Highway i've logged 30 mpg at steady 65mph !

Im really impressed with my 330i and the gas milage. I drive autobahn about everyday. It seems like the faster I drive the better milage I get. I get on the average 23MPG. I spend most my time doing well over 200kmh until I come in that damned old "STAU". But I think 23MPG is pretty good for thoses speeds. [headbang]

330d touring - unbelieveable!

i was getting 41mpg (combined) out of my 330 touring.... sadly it was a company car and had to go back.... gutted.

serious improvement on the E46 touring economy.

The 325 is a great little car. Not only does it get great gas mileage, but according to C&D it does 0-60 in 6.1. That's not too shabby for an entry level $30K BMW.

actually, 0-60 tests taken on different days and places always provide somewhat different results. however, no one here is "wrong." C & D tested a red 325i with sport package and stick = 6.1. you are looking at the manufacturers claim, usually conservative, but not really "wrong"

cant believe people always write in about this crap. different times for the same car tested on different days is normal. temp, humidity, surface, driver all play a part. plus the 6.7 appears to be a manufacturer claim.

o crap, forgot to add that i also just looked at the 06 330i, C & D review. that sucker was auto and non-sport. it produced a zip to 60 in, 5.6. the 330i sport package with stick can only be faster. check it.
