Gauge Light Out!

[bad ass v-dub]

Today, I got in my car, started it up, and turned the lights on, but the lights for my speedo and fuel gauge didn't come on. All of the other lights work though. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Just give the dash a little tap over the instrument cluster and it'll come straight back on!!! It worked for me.

yeah that worked for me for a while until i burned the other ones out hitting the dash while they were "hot".

They are relatively easy to replace if you end up burning all of them out.

Yeah Mike is quite correct. I've only had to tap mine once and it was cold so I've been lucky that it's continued to work properly.

BTW, how's that 3.91 diff treating you?

that sucks you will have to pull out the whole cluster and replace a bulb i need to do the same, atleast your tac side work, on my e30 the tac side doesnt

yea, so if I have to replace the bulbs, I'm just gonna go in and put in the white faces also.

We still haven't gotten the 3.91 in yet, but my powder coated valve cover came in today.
