'Gear whine' after SlipTronic replacement?

Just curious... I have a sliptronic due for replacement, and recall threads mentioning replacement trannies having noticeable "gear whine".

Has anyone had issues with this? Should I request a 'clutch pack' fix, or am I just being paranoid???

I've got 1000 miles on my replacement tranny and haven't noticed any gear whine.

I have about 3000 miles on my replacement and no whine.

We've got over a 1000 miles on the "new" tranny and NO whine. Just quiet, smooth silky and NO SLIPPING

I had my tranny replaced, and the slipage went away, but then i developed a whining noise at 30 -4- mph, sounded like a bearing gone bad
Dealer replaced transfer case bearing and problem went away

Hey you guy, I had my tranny replace a few months ago and now everytime I take off I can hear my engine roaring then it fade off.. LIke you can hear the engine running.. My car was pretty quiet before I got this done.. Now is this normal ? Well the good new is there is no more slippage..
