Hold on a minute guys... nyce46 asked if this was a good deal, and at $750 above invoice (I'm assuming the numbers are correct), this is an AWESOME deal! I mean, who here bought their car for $750?? Anyone from the NYC area?? I doubt it!
Now, that having been said, should he try to negotiate a better deal? Of course! Dude, if you like the car as it's equipped, counter-offer with $32K or $32,250, but I wouldn't expect them to go too much lower. Yeah, the car's almost bone stock, but there's plenty of demand out there for lower-priced new BMW's, particularly with the younger crowd. And this crowd will not care so much about leather and ass-warmers and would often prefer the sportier look of titanium over wood trim.
Just make sure that in your negotiations, they INCLUDE all the bull$hit fees, which can add up if you're not careful. For example if you can get the car for $750 including all the fees, I can't imagine that you will ever do better than that.
