Have any of you put a strut mount brace on? What about a short shift kit?
Does the strut mount work well on the convertibles?
I would like to hear a few opinions and brand names if you can recommend some.

i think the convertibles have the x-brace on the underside, but a strut brace is a good idea. I have the M Roadster shift lever in my car, it reduced the throw by about 40% and it was $70. UUC makes a good kit though.

I had a Racing Dynamics on my 97 Z3 2.8 and on my 91 318is, I currently have a Dinan on my 98 M roadster. Yes they work very well with convertibles, more so than with a hardtop. I would strongly recommend one.

Big Daddy,
There's a big price difference between the Racing Dynamics and the Dinan. I know they're on very different cars, but can you tell a big difference?
