i currently have a 325Ci (2004) Coupe with a harmon kardon system . It is a great small car [driving] , but when i go over bumps, it skips!!? [thumbd] [thumbd] I thought the harmon kardon was the best system BMW offers.... Thats makes me so mad, wtf,

Also, does anyone who owns one also think its front is too low? everytime i go down the drive way, it scratches the bottom. Should i get bigger wheels? i have the sport package, so i think my wheels r 17''... Any ideas?

Yes, this has happened to me several times over the last week. I am hoping it does not continue, and blaming it on the bad roads but if it continues I will be rolling into the dealership.

My CD Skips as well. You don't have to change your oil every 15k, you can change it as often as you like. You just have to pay for it out of pocket.

My in-dash CD never skips nor does my Alpine in the trunk. Never has, hopefully never will.

Tom, what does BMW have to say about your skipping CD, assuming you have complained about it?

My HK system only skipped a few times over the past 3 years that I can remember. But it was only when I went over a MAJOR bump in the road...i.e, potholes, big speed bumps, small animals...etc.

Yeah, I think you should do something about that front end scratching the bottom every time you go down your driveway. When it's a bad angle in situations like that, the only thing you can really do is to go slow so that the shocks don't compress and lower the car, causing it to hit the ground. Basically, just go slow over the rough stuff.

to all of you people who burn CD's, i dont do that much anymore, but are you using the standard CD's or using hte black bottom CD's, the Black Bottom ones have better quality and wont get worse over time or something and they are a couple of dollars more exspensive, my cuz says they are alot better, someone should try that out

Sorry..I didn't see this thread until now. They said it's due to the M3's lowered suspension.
