head swap

i would like to switch my stock single overhead cam head to a dual overhead cam head.... can it be done i am a mechanic and would like to know any particulars i ned to know before doing so,,,,, Thanks in advance,,, 1985 318i

thats a new one on me. but it must be possible after all anything is.

i have something like this too my old mazda. as long as your oil passgaes are the same you wont have a problem. but have fun trying to put it time.....there wont be any books on how far your advancment should be.

you willl also need to find a longer timing belt and a saw zall will be of use. hope you like your hood with a scope in it.

the biggest thing is oil passages.
