Headlight Protection Film?

Does anyone have the 3M plastic film installed on their headlights? Im thinking about it as a protective measure for my new baby. Any comments? Suggestions?

Living in Arizona, rocks are very common to get thrown up onto your car. I purchased the light protection kit from Bav Auto. It's a VERY thick, (about 3/32"), clear laminate that you adhere to the lens of your lights. I do not know if it's a 3M product or not.

I don't think I could live without it now.

Man, it must be nice to worry about stuff like that. I worry about actual mechanical problems.

Not its not.. I hate when my car gets chipped/keyed by any foreign oject.... mechanics you can fix but those things are annoying.
