Hey everybody, I just joined bmwboard today. I bought my '89 325i in June, that's it in my signature. I just put a Blaupunkt cd player in it over the weekend which can change the volume depending on the speed of the car. The problem is that it needs to be connected to the vehicle speed sensor somewhere in the dash. I assume it goes right to the spedometer but there are a lot of wires going into the cluster and I couldn't figure out which one it was. Can anybody tell me? I appreciate it.

Welcome to the forum. I don't think I can help you with that one except to say that the speedometer picks up its info from a sensor on the rear differential. I don't know where it goes once it gets to the dash harness. Good luck, maybe someone has better info. I'll look in the Bentley to see if it shows anything.
