Cascade of electrical malfunctions occurring after disconnected a damaged HK amp from my 2000 323i wagon (I posted a notice asking for help finding a used HK amp).

Time Zero: HK amp starts to smoke, blows fuse and stops working.

EVERYTHING else (audio and visual cues for indicator lights, door warning chimes, mirror adjusts, etc) is working fine after the initial damage to the amp. Radio did not work b/c of blown fuse.

Time Zero + 7 days: Disconnected damaged HK amp for repair. Replaced the radio fuse (radio now displays “DISABLED”).

Started to notice electrical malfunctions after about 10 mins:
1. Directionals: Clicking audio and green blinking visual cues are not working;
2. Door warning chimes not working;
3. Warning chimes for when leave lights on not working;
4. Blinking outside directionals when remotely lock/unlock car not working; and
5. Passenger driving mirror tilt when reverse not working.

Time Zero + 7.5 days: Reconnected damaged HK amp. Electrical malfunctions still persist. No change.

Time Zero + 8 days: Cascade of other electrical malfunctions continue:
1. High beams indicator not working;
2. Fog lights indicator not working; and
3. Indicator for open doors, replace lights, etc. not working.

Time Zero + 9 days: More electrical malfunctions continue:
1. Seat belt sign on even when fasten seat belt.

Time Zero + 10 days: Brought to BMW specialist but electrical malfunctions continue:

Mechanic checks fuses (with ohm meter) – all fine
Checks battery – okay but maybe overcharging*

Now windows stop working – will not roll down or up.
Performed diagnostics on car – all okay except “digital process error” – may be from disconnected amp. He is stumped.

Still trouble shooting.
Ideas include
- control module malfunctions
- blown fuse
Any thoughts/help?
