I just got a code reading of P036 misfire cylinder 6.
What could that mean? I haven't had any spark plugs changed in a long time the car has 136K miles on it. could that be it?

It could be a bad plug, could also be a bad coil. Start with the cheap basics. If the plugs have not been changed in a long time, do it!!! If the code returns, then look deeper. Replace the boots around the spark plug as they can deteriorate, then consider the coils if you still have problems.
