Help ! Garage Door opener

Hi all,

I am having a tough time programming my Garage door opener,

I have a 2004 330cic, followed the dealer instructions & nothing ?

Is there any tech support sites that deal specifically with this kinda thing ?, or does anyone know the process ?, I am having a hard time finding printed info in the Manual or any literature for the vehicle.

Maybe I am overlooking the info....

Any help, much appreciated !!!

What type of garage opener are you trying to sync the Universal Remote up to? Does it have a "roaming code"?

Yes, it is a Genie with a rotating code[???1]

O.K.,

Got it, the homelink page did help a ton, for the newer Garage door openers follow the roaming instructions, I found a "smart button" on the garage door opener head unit (attached to the garage door track), esentially you push the smart button on the head unit and the car button at the same time off/on 3 times and "presto!!!" the car opener now works.

sometimes you have to program both the univeral transmitter in your car ... and the garage door unit ... there should be a button on the unit somewhere that tells the garage door opener to accept a new remote
