Help me pick out which Bimmer is best for me!

Hey guys, i'm still new to Bimmers. and also new to this board.

what i'm having trouble with is..which bimmer is the best for me?

it needs to be 2000-current
less than 50k miles
i'm not looking to spend more then 25K on it
I'm not going to MOD it whatsoever
Just something to work and cruise
I find myself cruising on the freeway at 80mph alot so all in all i'm not a speed demon

Whats the different b/w the 325 and the 328? i know there is about a 10 hp difference

Also which years should i try to avoid?

If you're looking at the 328 and 325, power isn't that much difference. I'd get the newer/lower mileage car. Otherwise, it's mainly just the engine that's different. Minor trim stuff you prolly won't care about.

There are no years to really try and avoid. Just get as low mileage as you can.

given the choice, i'd go with the newer 325. 328 does have higher standard options, but 325 is a nice car. if you want something pretty sporty, try to opt for a 330 instead, but that'll drive the price up too.

also, test drive the cars you are interested in and go back on different days to drive it. at first you'll be like oh sweet, this is NICE! but after you go home to think about different things and come back, you may get a better perspective for everyday driving also. 2-3 test drives on the same car, given the time seems like a good way to form an opinion.
