I was planning to order a 2004 330xi prem/sport pkgs
navagation h/k etc
loaded nyc/usa
excuse the stream of concious style questions but i
couldn't resovlve
these at the dealer thou they did try and my time to
add to the order is
running out now that the order just went in any help
is greatly appreciated
I'd really like to also get the bluetooth, some say
it's not compatable
/avail if the car has bmw assist, which mine will
have... is that true??
why can't BT work alone w/asst , all asst is , just
a cell phone to call
for emerg asst whtas the big deal??
is a bug fix expected?? If so i guess anyone can
just add the bt kit at
that time aka add it at the dealer can /should it be prewired whats the code for that
if it's true will the 3rd party bmw integrated bt
kits"" overcome this
limitation?? ex parrott, any others?? and work with the phone's directory into the bmw screan/dvd screan

I was also told that you can't get the bmw sat radio
(since i have the
dvd/gps nav unit) seems kinda odd that the upper end
unit can't interface
w/it can anyone confirm this
will a bug fix be avail soon?? and i'd guess again
if so , a user or
dealer could always add the sat unit??
(i am not interested in a sat unit that will not
integreate totally w/the
lcd disply/system )
can it be factory prewired for it if it's not currently avail I heard a rehurmor that it will be ready soon

modify the suspension ie
stiffer how come?? i was told cause the awd system
raises or lowers the
car i forgot , ok but still ride height aside why
can't they make it a
tiny bit stiffer??
i mean the same 330xi can be ordered w/the
Performance pkg and that then
gets way stiffer suspension so says the dealer but my book seems to indicate that the pkg is not avail on the xi
OK so i'd like the car a tiny bit more customized from
the factory then I am
told poss makes not a lot of sence, but if i can't
get it, i'd at least
like to know technically speaking why,
the 330xi i ordered with prem and sport pkg I
believe it has chrome trim
around the door windows, I remember reading someplace that
their is either a
'special' dealer code to get black trim or was it
called shadow? Or
perhaps this was a dealer level install anyone know
the procedure my
dealer is clueless
I'd also like to get BlueTooth and SirusSat radio
options. I have the
DVD/NAV unit and naturally the assist is standard

understand their SOP is to say hey it's a pvt dealer
but that can't be true
at higher levels of exec's after all they must have
terms w/the dealers

goes' I am not expecting
them to do much just 'something' to a dealer that
runs amock

anyone know what this
code specifically means or what part exactly it
represents?? GENERATOR
CORE CHARGE W RMFD would that be the actualy
entire unit or a part
/piece of it??

BTW anyone know when the new 3 is due out the
redesiged one?? any pix of
the interrior or a verbal list of it's features??
I believe the above will come with some sort of tire pressure warning is it the low pressure alert or will it show the pressure is theis a option whats the way to order that again dealer isn't savvy
