Help with 330ix wheels/tires

Looking for advise on a wheel and tire purchase. Just bought a 2001 330xi (sport/premium/cold packages and Nav)with the stock wheels and tires. Looking for advise on options for a new set-up. 18's vs the stock 17's?? Wider tires than the stock 205's(205's don't have enough meat on the pavement) ??? Upgrading to M wheels??? The best M&S tires. I really want it all (of course) handling and comfort --- need help??

Try 225s with some Pirelli P-Zero Nero M+S. They are rated very well at the Tire Rack. I personally like the 17" 68M style rims. They come staggered with 7.5 up front and 8.5 in the back. You could go 245 in the rear if you decide on those.

I ageee those are some of my favorite rims!! Any suggestions on where to get them for a reasonable price? Do you suggest the 225s x 45 or 50?? Thanks for your help!!
