Help with Check Engine Code

My '98 323 check engine light came on this afternoon. I have a code reader from Bavarian Auto and the code is 63 or possibly G3. Neither code is in the manual which accompanied the code reader. Any help?

I'm pretty sure the BAV Auto reader is just a relabel Peake Research reader, so it should have displayed a Table Code before the error code. What Table Code number did it display?

The code had to be 63. It can't be G3, these codes are hexadecimal and G is not a hex number.

My manual also does not show a code for 63 in table 11.

This page on Peake's web site lists a known error for table 11. They also list an Email address to report problems with the tables. Maybe they could help?
