Yes, i purposely chose to use this forum instead of PM. PM does not allow me to show the public display of appreciation. When a fellow does good to other fellows, it should be recognized. That what I tried to do here.

If the forum God wants to delete my post or band me, it is his call. But I hope not.

Well what did j00 get?

problem with the ETK cd.
once installed, it says .... (forgot, let me see) unable to open database.

i uninstalled and reinstalled and still no go. i looked at the etk log and there are dir locations that are written wrong.... but maybe thats not the issue because it must work for everyone else.
Im using W2K btw.

the other CD is great, wish it had even more detail though. (like measurements of cam lobes and such)

That's weird. We have Windows 2K professional at work and it works fine there. Try to see if you can figure out what may be wrong with it and if it is the CD, then I can send you another one.
