HID Bulbs

I'm thinking about replacing the oem xenon bulbs on my car, and the bulbs on the foglight. Does anyone have any suggestions, such as which bulbs to get, what H level to get.?

Good question! When you find out could you post up? I had been wondering the same thing. I think one of my headlights had been replaced because one is a cool white and the other is a whitish purple. I really want to get them matched up.

For our's its the 9006.

for low beams and fogs??? Hmm any suggestion on by who? Sylvan, Hoen, PIAA ??

Those are foglights size. The standard headlights are H7.

I think our lumen or whatever the measuring rating is is like 4600K or something like that. 6000 and up just makes the light look bluer. I bought my xenons for its brightness and its close proximity to the whiteness of natural sunlight. If it's any bluer, you start looking like those ricers who have the cheap blue tinted bulbs on them and your xenons stop looking genuine.

I just want a bulb that's a little brighter than what I have. So, do i have to stay with H7 bulbs? or can I put something liek an H9

I don't think an H9 will fit but I'm not 100% positive on that one.

I'm guessing he number after the H is the size of the bulb fitting

'03 540i sport instrument cluster

Does anyone own a 2003 540i with a sport package, I am interested in one that was bought at the end of '02 or early '03. What does your instrument cluster look like?
