Anyone heard of this...and forgive me for being naive if you have.

I dropped my car off for an oil change and for them to check out the DSC since the light sometimes comes on and stays on indicating a system failure. My warranty is up (by 2k miles and 2 months). Service Advisor told me that for 6 more months or 10k more miles, the dealer can give you 3 free repairs. So all the DSC work will be of no cost to me... WOOHOO!

but it was like that for me. I had problem with my power door lock on the driver side, and the cd player. My warranty had expired for a month by the time I brought my car in. And I ended up need to pay off the repair on my own. [?|]

Maybe just that I was not that lucky of picking the advisor then... [:(]

Good to know -- However, right before I traded my previous 325ci -- My center charged me $200 for just the schedule oil and maintenance service -- and they wanted more money to fix the brakes. I didn't do the brakes because I knew I was trading it in a month or two. I guess it's up do the center to offer those deals.

I think the 04's and beyond now include brakes in the warranty -- I'm am glad for that on my current 325. -- It sucked buying new brakes on my 01' -- wasn't cheap.
