My horn gave out. I checked the fuse & it was blown.

After about a day or 2 I noticed that the horn was out again. The fuse was blown again.

Is there an electrical problem that merits bringing it in to the repair shop?

You could try and troubleshoot it yourself perhaps. Maybe the horn itself is intermittently shorting and causing the fuse to blow. First, replace the fuse again. If you can find the horn, pop off the connector and use your voltmeter to check the voltage getting to the horn using the horn switch (steering wheel) pressed and released. It is likely a 12V DC signal you are looking for. I am not sure of the horn voltage, we have to find that out first to know what we are checking. Anyone know this? Lets go with 12V for now. Press and release it many times and watch the voltmeter go back and forth from 0 to 12 VDC. If it does this to your satisfaction. then it is likely the horn that is bad. Replace it.

Hopefully the horn is your culprit, as that is easiest to diagnose and fix. I would guess you have a good chance that the horn is bad.
