How do I get at the 3rd brake light?

Hello out there.....some bugs have managed to crawl into the space between my 3rd brake light and rear window and then die. I took my 330 in for service a few days ago and asked if they could do anything about it. Sure, they said, for $75.

Does anyone know how to remove the brake light housing from the interior roof so I can get at those bugs? This is one of those things that just drives me crazy every time I see it. Thanks.

$75 is a deal for the BMW dealership to take care of that problem.

The housing itself should just snap and slide off, leaving the housing there with accessibiltiy to the blub. You can probably get a vacuume attachment back there.
