How do I replace first aid kit E46 ?

Hi there,

I have a BMW 3 series E46, 2001 UK model. I am trying to replace the plastic box first aid kit that is located under the passenger seat, with a new one bought from BMW dealer, as the old ones plastic hinges and cover broke off. I cant seem to find any screws or bolts that will let me take out the original and the dam thing seems to be pretty solid so I dont want to use brute force in case I damage the seat,

any ideas?

This might help. It looks like the kit slides in and clicks in place.

If that box is installed, where do the rear passengers put
their feet (in a coupe, anyway).

I keep one in the trunk.

The first aid kit is under the front passengers seat, no problem for anyone in the back seats.
