I have four ...Yes FOUR! dings on the passenger side of my car from the garage I park in (and the car is even covered).

How well does the so-called "paintless" dent removal work, and How does it work?

My friend owns a top-notch body shop, but they do not peform this procedure.

Any thoughts?

It depends on where the ding is located at, if its in a hard spot they'll drill a small hole behind your fender and nudge it out. If its on the door, they can probably get to it from the window.

I had this procedure done to my M3 and it looks perfect.

I had Dentmaster in Hayden Lake Idaho remove several from my cars over the years, never anything requiring any drilling, however every one was done so well that you could not tell that it had ever been dinged. My BMW dealer at the time recommended them to me.

I have had it done on my car and it is awesome! It cost me 125 for four dings on my car that were unsightly looking! I highly recommend it to save money and it is really quick.

We had the second car have six or eight dents taken care of, they could get all but two of them, the last two they couldn't do with the procedure. Only one of them required a hole drilled to get at it.

Very pleased with the results and would use them again.

I tried to have the paintless dent guys at our BMW Dealership correct a dent 2 inches or so from the corner of my 330 Ci, below the taillight. They said they couldn't use that technique so close to the corner of the car.

I was disappointed.
