Not sure if anyone's been there, but I had to replace a whole radiator on my 328 and ran into a problem with a complete reinstall of the radiator plug. It constist of two pieces - one is long and black that goes way in the radiator and then the blue screw that goes inside of the 1st one. My question is: how on earth do you mount that first black long piece in - there is no thread on it like on screws so how do you make sure you secure it in place??? I just pushed it in, not seeing any other way (installed that blue screw as well) and sure enough it is slowly drips coolant. Anyone can help?

hmm, all of our radiators come with the plugs in them. is it a half turn plug?

Something like a quarter turn, the dealer says. Thanks for the input. Looks like that was a tough one...
