Dude, I am so sorry! I got so excited that I completely forgot. All I wanted to do was drive and drive! My wife's family lives in Bischofsheim. In fact that is where I took the pictures. Give me your contact info and I'll look you up when we are next down there.

Unfortunately that'll probably be during X-mas.

Pictures look great. I have been looking for some mroe pictures of the interor with the Preformance Package. I too have a Z3 (saw it in the window in one of your pictures), and am thinking about getting a 330Ci Convertible. I really want the Performance Package, but have been on the fence about the Alcantara steering wheel.

Any thoughts on the Alcantara now that you have the car? And how do you like the Nav. system? I am also contemplating that too.

Thanks and enjoy!

Details on Alacantra/cloth and Natural leather interiors

I have the exact same questions regarding the 330Ci interior with the Performance Package. Finding pictures of the Alcantara/cloth interior is nearly impossible; I've been searching various galleries for a few weeks and only found one or two, and in both cases the lighting is too poor to even tell what we're looking at.

All the 330Cis and 330is that I've seen in person have had black leather interior. That always looks good enough, but I'm also considering how the Alcantara/cloth combination and the Natural leather would look. The previews on the BMW Web site aren't necessarily accurate, as they don't take the Performance Package differences into account.

It's not just a matter of choosing seat covering material. The plastic panels on the lower portion of the dashboard also change color for some of the seat material choices, but I have yet to find these combinations documented. More pictures of the Alacantra/cloth and Natural leather interiors would be most appreciated.

I'll take some more pics of the interior. Probably on Saturday. I had many of the same concerns. I went with the Silver Cube without even seeing how it would look with Gray Leather Interior. I love it though!

I'll pay particular attention to the contrast between the Alacantra Headliner and the Gray Leather. Any special requests? I just got the digital camera and I love taking pictures of my car!!!

Alacantra Steering Wheel: I like it. I find it very comfortable, good grip, and I like that I don't have the problems of an "ice cold" steering wheel in the mornings. I live in Northern Germany and it's starting to get cold here. Our other car (Mazda Tribute, which I love also) has a leather steering wheel and it gets COLD during the winter months. Love the Tribute, but it sucks holding on to a cold steering wheel while waiting for the car to warm up!

NAV system: I LOVE IT!!!! Very easy to use. Can find anything! Being in the military in Europe we can buy gas coupons on base for U.S. prices. Gas here is about 1.16 Euros per litre. 1 Euro = 1.23 Dollars and 1 gallon = 3.68 liters. Gets kind of expensive. Problem is we can only use the coupons at certain gas stations (ESSO). With the NAV system I can specifically ask for where the ESSO Gas stations are and it tells me! It also tells me information on restaurants, hotels, places of interests, museums...etc. Gives phone numbers to those places too.

Great color choice. Although not ZHP, I got the brushed aluminum trim--much sportier than wood. Looks good with black leather, too.

ENJOY!!!!!! Good luck on the break-in period.
