I just paid $30 BUCKS for coolant (just ranting)

After reading the pelican article about regular coolant, I decided to go with OEM coolant. But didn't expect to be ripped off at $30 bucks per gallon, That's 4x more expensive than the regular green stuff. Oh well, guess my car deserves it. If I didn't have to replace my thermostat, I would just give it to the dealer - they're having a radiator flush and fill special for $69.00. Sorry , just had to vent.

Well for Chevy's you have to use dex-cool even though it is highly corrosive over time and its very expensive as well IMO compared to original green stuff.

Go figure.

Woah where did you pay $30/gallon? It's $20 at my dealer after tax.

I pay $13.00 at my dealer, at $30.00 a gallon I would take it back.

San Francisco BMW. Well, never going back to them. I'll drive 20-30miles to the next dealer next time.
