I purchased my first BMW today!

After driving a 1986 Toyota pickup truck for the last 19 and 1/2 years, I purchased my first BMW! A 2005 alpine white 325i with sand leatherette interior.

I just have to say thank's to everyone here for all the information that I have absorbed over the last year. Armed with the knowledge gained here, I got a good deal, and exactly the car that I wanted.

Now I know why they call it the ultimate driving machine!

Congratulations, Uncle Rusty! The feeling of owning a new car is great enough in itself, but after having driven the same car (truck) for 19 years, you should be shouting hallelujah from the rooftops! Looks like you got the fat steering wheel, I wish mine were that thick, I had to add a wrap for my big hands. BTW that looks so clean, nothing beats a new car!
