Has anyone used the Ipod factory radio control adaptor called Icelink? It is made by Dension USA. It connects to the CD changer control and allows iPod controls through the factory stereo similar to the new BMW/Apple system. They have several mounting options as well. The BMW installation kit costs about $215.

I have a 2001 330ci so the new Apple iPod integration system won't work for me.

Here are the links to the IceLink

BMW Kit for 2001+ 3 Series: http://densionusa.com/merchant/merc...U&Product_Code=I11_BMW_T&Category_Code=IA_BMW

If you have used this system, do you know if it can control playlists? I don't know how it could, but the new Apple system allows for up to 5 special BMW playlists.

Thanks everyone!

there are postings on this board with people who have used it. they seem to like it...despite the cost. I would just do a search and use Ice link keywords, and Ipod -- there are extensive postings all over this site...you just have to filter through it all. But you will find a lot of good info and tips. I sure did.
