I have been a member of this site for a short period of time, but in this short period of time the people on this site have impressed me. Everyone is considerate, appreciative, helpful, and very friendly.

The thing is, people on this site don't have to have BMW's to have a good time. And people aren't dogging out the other vehicles you may have or like. It's like folks here just appreciate good rides.

Anyhow, I just posted this in the e46 forum cuz it's the only one I post in.

But thanks to you all!!!

Dekion, I competely agree. There are more ladies, gentlemen and auto scholars on this board than anywhere else I've been. Almost no garbage, self-important know-it-alls, or hyper-sensitive flamers... just helpful information and interesting discussion. Thanks all.

Dekion, steve, thank you very much for those compliments. The way you describe it is exactly the way we want the board to be and it is more than nice to hear that we seem to be on the right way.

Good to have you, and all you other guys and girls around. [wave] [thumb]

Cheers

roadfly vs. hot bimmer

I have heard roadfly is like the mecca of on-line forums, especially for BMW. I have heard of this and even became a member there before joining hotbimmer.com. In my assessment, I think this site is by far easier to navigate, provides tons of information, and has great topics ranging from aftermarket modifications to technical verbage only a BMW engineer would know how to decode.

I actually have to thank my friend for referring this site to me since my answer for a great forum would've gone unanswered otherwise. The reason why I'm posting such a favorable viewpoint is b/c of how much BMW knowledge I have gained in the past two months.

I agree hands down with Dekion and would like to thank everyone also [clap] ...Oh by the way, Thanks Alan!!! [thumb]

I love these animated faces....hilarious!!![rofl]

I think the only arguments on this board come from me. If I was not a member here, this forum would be a better place than it already is.

And thanks to everyone that assists in keeping this online home for me the way it is! [pray]

I agree with all of you. I used to be part of a forum on supercarstats.com, but then something happenned to it. I went awhile without a forum, but decided to find one. I simply went to Yahoo and searched for 'BMW forum' and by chance I picked this one. I have scanned other forums, and this is by far the best I feel. The people are welcoming, fights are rare and needed when they happen, anything you need to know can be found here, and it is all around fun. Great job on a great site Moderators! [cheers]

I really like this forum also! [thumb] It's so nice and peaceful. I get to hold very informative discussions - always fun.

I've been on Roadfly (when it was still Bimmer.org) since early 2000. I was very active, until about a year ago all the flame crap started. Quit that, no just show up in the Lounge from time to time.

Bimmerfest and Bimmerforums (particularly the Track section) are the other two very good sites. They are a bit more established, but hey, we are getting there. [:D] [thumb]

Bimmerforums is a solid forum, but the people there are just a bunch of BMW fanboys. Those guys are way too biased, I don't really like it. At least most people on this forum have respect for other guys, for example, when we bring up Audi's and other car companies.

Compared to other BMW boards I have visited, this one seems more civilized without the cussing and ranting. There is a lot of good information exchange between good people here. And of course, who can forget those "smilies"? Thanks to all our members...[drinking]
