There is a decreasing counter that comes up everytime I start the car that lists miles for inspection. The number when counted to 0, co-incides with 60,000 miles. Will that be the time for inspection by the Dealer? If so, what things do they inspect and/or change?
The counter is still 12000 miles, will I need an oil change in between or wait until I hit 60k?

[thumb] I'm not exactly sure of which you speak... Bimmers require service at 15K - 30K intervals. Usually, an oil change is due minmum every 15K with a schedule I or Schedule II due every 30K. I currently get my oil changed between intervals at 7,5K. Attached is a weblink that should shed some light on the whole scheduled service bimmer inquire: http://www.gms.cc/maintenance.htm. My next scheduled service is at 180K, I drive a 2000 323i and as you can guess I enjoy driving the hell out of Sally Sue. I hope this adds some clarity to your inquire. Happy Motoring...
