Interfering with Warranty???

This is unfortunately my first post, so sorry for asking questions as a starter.

Anyways, i own a complete stock 2002 Bmw 330 ci convertible (Titanium silver metallic/gray leather)

im 15 years old, and uncle just gave me the car and the keys, he told me i got all these warranty : Full Maintenance Program Upgrade Agreement, NSD (Nation Safe Drivers) Windshield Protection Plan, and Vehicle Tire and Wheel Guarantee, and maybe some other stuff, not sure.

Question:

1. If i switch out my HK speakers with new aftermarket speakers and subwoofers, will it interfere with my warranty and cancel the warranty?

2. If i get new 19' or 20' rims and replacing it with my 17's, will it also cancel my warranty?

My car is all stock and has 13k miles on it. I'm doing the 48 months/ 50,000 miles

Thanks to everyone in advance

That's a very nice uncle you have!!!

I would go to the dealer and ask them.
haha it's because my dad gave his escalade to my uncle, cause my uncle's soon to have a family, and he gave me his bmw, and my dad bought a new jaguar s-type. I wanted to get a civic or integra and highly modify it, but dad thought that was stupid, jus like when i was a child and loved pokemon =)

I believe that the dealer would have to demonstrate (or have good reason to believe) that the modifications are related to the problem. For example, changing your speakers should not affect a warranty problem with, say, your sunroof. On the other hand, if you have any problem with your sound system---whether it's caused by your new speakers or not---your dealer might consider this part of your warranty to be void. You might want to talk to your dealer (or local dealers) and see how they would handle it. Some dealers are more "mod friendly" than others.

Welcome to the forum, congrats on the car. Neither of the mods you plan to do will cancel or void the warranty. Unless any of the modifications you perform to the car cause a problem to occur (and that the dealership can PROVE that it did), only then they will not perform the work under warranty.

While they're supposed to prove any mods caused the problems, in real life, dealer is gonna make any excuse he can make. If you change the speakers and something with the stereo system goes (say head unit or something), the dealer will claim the speakers may have been wired wrong and screwed up something. As for the wheels, dealer might claim that any suspension damage was caused by the wheels being larger than stock (big stretch, but you may hear it). Easiest way to deal is to just ask which dealer is more mod friendly on the boards or just try another dealer.
