What happens if we get the Bluetooth option and both my husband and I are in the car with both of our Bluetooth phones?? How will the car know which one to use?

Yes I am looking at bluetooth

The dealer claims I cant have it with BMW assist. I am wondering if i can have assist disconnected (Or do it myself) then by the kit and install it. My salesperson knew little about it but came back with the statment that it has bugs which I think meant "I don't know"

Does anyone have a good path for obtaing and installing the bluetooth kit??

According to my dealer, in September they can get a module from BMW that will allow Assist and Bluetooth to co-exist.

I am speculating , but logic would say if you pair both phones with the car, whichever phone it sees first will get used. So if you have both phones on and approach the car, it could link up with either one depending on the signal strength. I think also, if you both have your phones on and it links with yours, if you turn yours off, it will then link with your husband's. [screwy] [rofl] [scratch]

the latest right from BMW

I wrote BMW through there web site and this is the response I received back - word for word.

Thank you for contacting BMW of North America, LLC regarding Bluetooth phone options. Congratulations on your BMW purchase; I am pleased to read your new 325i is treating you well. Currently, we are working on the integration of the Bluetooth technology into the new 3 Series. At the present time, I do not have an estimated date of availability for the integration, nor can I confirm that the integration will be available for your 325i. Please accept my apologies for any frustration or inconvenience this situation may cause.

The Motorola CPT 9000 is the phone which is compatible with the integrated system in the 2004 3 Series. If you have any further questions, please respond to this e-mail or contact the Customer Relations Department at 1-800-831-1117, Monday through Friday from 9:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M., Eastern Standard Time. Again, thank you for contacting BMW.

Sincerely,
Allison Eastwood
