iPod installed tomorrow!

Hello all.
Well I got my call today from parts.......my iPod adapter has arrived! I get it installed tomorrow. Anything I should know beforehand or check for afterwards?

I purchased the 4th Gen iPod a couple of weeks ago in anticipation of this sentinel event. I love the iPod but I suspect my expectations with BMW are set a little too high. Any comments on those who already have it and use it?

I thought I read that if you have Sirius, you can't have the IPod port, too.

I'll find out soon enough about the Sirius/iPod issue. I seem to recall that iPod was incompatable with the Nav/On-Star(type) component of which I have neither.

By the way.....I'd yank out the Sirius in a heartbeat in exchange for access to my 3791 songs that are contained in my iPod.

hope everything goes well w/ the install.

i just placed an order for a 20 gig 4th gen. who knows when my adapter's gonna show up.. i'm thinking of diy it, rather than drop 150+ for an install.. doesn't seem all that hard.. but we'll see
